How We Make Money — and Why It Never Sways Us
Let's be upfront about the money. Here's how Barrett's Research earns its keep, why it doesn't shape our ratings, and what it all means for you. No fine print, no asterisks.

The legal bit, in plain words
When you click through to a GLP-1 program from one of our links and then sign up, we may earn a small commission. We tell you that openly, in line with the Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255). Some of the outbound program links on this site may be affiliate links — and now you know.
What this means for you
- The price you pay never changes — our links cost you nothing extra.
- Programs we don't partner with are reviewed by the exact same standard.
- A commission has zero effect on a program's score or where it lands in our ranking.
- We publish the unflattering details too, partner or not.
Where our revenue comes from
Affiliate commissions
This is our main source of income. When a reader signs up with a partner program through our link, we may earn a referral fee. The program sets its own prices, and our commission is paid by them — it's never added to your bill.
Display advertising
We may run some advertising on the site. Advertisers get no say whatsoever in our content, our rankings, or our scores.
What we'll never do
- Take money in exchange for a ranking or a higher score.
- Soften or hide negative data to protect a partner.
- Publish fake or paid-for reviews.
- Let a program pre-approve or edit what we write about it.
- Leave out a legitimate program just because it isn't an affiliate.
- Use fake scarcity, countdown timers, or any other pushy urgency tricks.
The networks we work with
We partner with performance-marketing networks — primarily Katalys and RevOffers — that connect publishers like us with GLP-1 programs. When you visit one of our six featured programs through a link on this site and sign up, we may earn an affiliate commission via those networks, at no extra cost to you. Not every program we review is in an affiliate program, and the ones that aren't are reviewed on exactly the same terms.
Why you can still trust the scores
Our scoring methodology runs independently of any business relationship, and we keep our editorial and business sides apart on purpose. The result is simple: a partner program and a non-partner program are graded by the very same rubric. Got an ethics question? We welcome it at ethics@glp1compass.com.
